Tracy Kobeda Brown is the Vice President of Programs and Technology for the Merchant Risk Council (MRC), the global non-profit membership association for payment and fraud prevention professionals. Her career in eCommerce payments and fraud began at American Eagle Outfitters, where she led the launch of ae.com. After uncovering fraud anomalies, she specialized in credit card fraud, chargebacks, and cybercrime, partnering with the FBI to dismantle online crime rings. She has served as CPO, CISO, CIO for various organizations and now spends her time speaking about fraud prevention and payments trends. Tracy holds an undergraduate degree from the Wharton School and a Master’s from Carnegie Mellon University.
